Being an early pre-alpha, Atomic Society does have its fair share of bugs. We do everything we can to remove any very serious bugs that would stop you from completing the game, but you might notice some of the issues below if you play it at this point.
---
- Citizens and the the Town Leader sometimes take illogical, crazy routes to get where they're going. This is being fixed for version 0.0.8.
- Buildings sometimes have corners floating in mid-air, especially on hilly maps. This is also being looked into for version 0.0.8
- Sometimes it's not letting me place a building even though there's lots of free space. We hope to have this fixed in 0.0.8. It's a problem with corpses (the game thinks they're taking up way more space than they are).
- On rare occasions the Town Leader will not go and help construct a building and the button to help construct is greyed out. For now just move the Leader with the keyboard (to break what he/she is doing) and try again. Might be fixed in version 0.0.8
- The camera can glitch out, get stuck in scenery, or sometimes it flies through scenery. Our camera is going to get some love in a later version. Until we can improve this remember you can always press the Home key to warp back to the centre of your town.
- Saving takes a long time. We'll decrease it over time.
- Sometimes there will be weird graphical corruption on the screen as if a texture is being stretched out. This is a rare bug but is caused when a corpse flops over in a strange position and the ragdoll physics freak out. The corpse will despawn eventually or your crematory workers will collect it.
- There will sometimes be a few food and drink resources in your storehouse that nobody ever collects, even though starving, etc. You can ignore/delete these ghost resources for now until we fix it.
There are lots of bugs beyond this we know about, but these are the ones players might actually notice.
