My own thoughts after one night of frantic play

I love this concept. In my world, these are refugees that secretly landed on this planet to escape the federation and the conflict with their enemies.
My ideas;
1. A law to legalize child labor. Life is tough right now and we need every capable hand on deck. Anyone 5 or older needs to get to work so we can all stay alive.
2. A law to determine the age of retirement. 60, 75, 99, never? With the situation as dire as it is, you may want to make the retirement age......never.
3. Heating/AC. Hot climates need A/C and cold climates need heat. People will have to wait until electricity comes around but these are vital to long term survival.
4. Ice house. In a cold climate, an ice house is an easy thing to start. In a hot climate, it may take over a year to get the ice house going. Ice is a great luxury.
5. Roads. We don't want to turn this into sim city but some basic road options could speed travel.
6. I want to cut down some trees. I also want to plant trees. I would like to be able to make other supplies but this has to be a considerable effort.
7. Climate changes. When temperatures go outside a comfortable range, all production slows down because people slow down. Hunger and thirst go up. Shelter becomes far more vital.
8. There has to be some kind of way to get cars working again. Even one pick up truck can make transporting goods much easier. In the meantime, a horse and buggy can help allot.
9. Trading post. People in the next town want to trade. It's a good idea.
10. Conflict. People in the next town don't want to trade. They just want to take. You can start by arresting them. Maybe put them in a labor camp (totally not slavery, lol). Or yo might just have to kill them.
11. Start a conflict. With this building, you can send people to the next town to give them a taste of their own medicine. This might not always be the best way to resolve an issue but it may be the only way.
12. Arena. When your town starts to mature, you can build an arena. How morbid the games are can be determined by laws. This could be fun.
13. Underground Bunker. The war isn't over??? SERIOUSLY?!?!?! What's left to destroy? Oh, my village. :/ That's not cool.
This list can go on forever. Great game. It will surely get better as it's updated.
