The chances are you already know these things and they are pretty trivial tbh, but 1. My crappy lappy only has a max of 1366 resolution and as such when i get to map choices, i cant read all the script below the map as it cuts off. Not sure if this is a resolution issue or not, but is there any chance of adding a scroll tool to the script boxes? 2. On the nuclear winter map the script reads "Needing restbite"..... deliberate or should it read respite .... lol. 3. This one really is NOT your problem at the moment, but Unity does NOT like AMD Radeon cards. I have a few games on Steam that use Unity and to say it makes the card run hot is an understatement. One game i have runs for about 1/2 hour then all the graphix start to pixellate and the game has made the lappy reboot to protect itself once or twice. Now don't get me wrong this is NOT your problem and I was aware of the fact you used Unity when I bought the game, but is it me or does the "w" and forward cursor camera keys really scroll the screen that slowly? Looking forward to getting loads of gametime in Bob

Hi. Thanks for the observations. They're really useful! * Map text being descriptions being cut off at low resolutions won't be fixed for Update 6 but is scheduled to be fixed in Update 7, as we redo the UI piece by piece. I hadn't spotted that one so I really appreciate it. * That typo has been corrected. I'm the guy who writes all the text and my embarrassing typos are a curse and may lurk elsewhere! * We do test the game on a desktop ATI card (6000 range) and we personally haven't noticed any issues with overheating aside from the fact it's a bit of an underpowered card for a game that currently isn't optimised yet. However the upcoming update 6 has a lot of GPU friendly tweaks in it which might help with the issue. Please let us know how hot your card gets when the update is out there. We have made some changes that have doubled FPS on low-end graphic cards specifically and we've personally seen good results on laptop testing, but we can only test it on what we have at hand. * Camera move speed is currently affected by performance. E.g. it's balanced around a PC running the game at 30+ fps. Below 30 fps it does feel sluggish. We have plans to fix this it's just a matter of time. Please standby...

OK matey ...cheers for that info....methinks it will keep the forum tidier if i post all my obs in the same thread. So with that in mind i will keep this thread for that purpose if that ok with you. Building called Crematory....deliberate cross between cemetery and crematorium? or typo? How do I measure card temp? and screenshots are window key + prt sc ? I'm chasing your town score I'm glad you appreciate the lower res issue. I have regular contact with a solo dev in the States who always sends me keys to beta test prior to release. He sent me one a year or so ago that could only be played in 1920 res. His argument was more people have modern machines than not. I told him i couldn't playtest it because i couldn't see the whole picture. No matter how much i argued he wouldn't add a resolution option. He was so certain he was right, needless to say he got hammered for it both in the forums and the game reviews. He's released another 2 games since then, (he makes cheapy RPGMaker games with original skins) both have had resolution options. Lol. I hope I don't become too much of a pain (ffs it's him again) with my obs, but sometimes the silly little things can make the difference between an ok review and a stonking one. Bob.

Sure, keep it coming in the same thread. I'd only suggest making a new thread if you discover something big like a crash, which would deserve its own thread. You may also want to keep gameplay suggestions (e.g. stuff that isn't bugs but a matter of taste) in their own thread, but it's up to you. Just makes it easier to track the info coming in for us. I'd always preferred be overwhelmed with feedback given a choice, even if our answer is usually "Yep, we know, it's being worked on" most of the time. We released a pre-alpha this early because we need players and testers for their financial backing just as much as their comments. * Crematory vs crematorium is interesting. Both seem to be valid spellings, with our spelling referring more to the machinery that does the job. We went with crematory as it sounds less noble than crematorium, more in-keeping with the post-apocalyptic nature of the game. * I assume you had some way to track your GPU temp as you said your card was running hot. Basically all that matters is to let us know if you have any problems with your laptop shutting down due to overheating like the other games you've played. If it doesn't happen with AS we're ok. (This program www.gputemp.com/ seems to monitor GPU temp, and works for me, but I have not tested it and cannot guarantee its safety, so please don't download it if you have doubts). * At the moment we support 1280x720 as our lowest compatible resolution so any issues that occur in that resolution or above are on us. However as time moves by, we may up the minimum supported res. * For screenshots you can use printscreen button on the keyboard and paste it into Paint or any other image program you have, assuming you don't have a dedicated screenshot program like FRAPS. Imgur is a great site to upload pics to. you don't even need an account. Keep the comments coming, and let me know if you beat that score! It's probably the last chance to aim for it as Update 6 changes the gameplay balance so much a new high score will need to be set.

(Right click on your uploaded pic, choose copy image address, and choose insert image on the toolbar when posting works best for me) This texture issue is a known problem, was in the patch notes for Update 5. Hasn't yet been fixed for Update 6 due to time but is still on our list to sort. It doesn't affect gameplay. Build over it to hide it. Consider it some weird radiation burn for the time being!

Those UI bugs should hopefully be fixed when the new update is out in 1-2 weeks time.
I was not aware of the dead body counter resetting after a load. That bug has now been added to the heap of stuff to fix. Thanks for spotting/reporting it!
